How to convert photos to PDF on iPhone
Need to send photos of documents as one PDF? Your iPhone can do it for free. Choose the method that fits what you are working with.
Method 1: PDFCop (choose page size and order)
Using A4 or Letter gives every page the same size, which looks much more professional than mixed photo sizes when the PDF is printed.
- Open pdfcop.com/jpg-to-pdf in Safari.
- Tap Choose images and pick the photos from your library.
- Drag them into the right order and choose A4 or US Letter.
- Tap Convert to PDF, then Download PDF. The file is saved to Files → Downloads.
Method 2: Scan with the Notes app
If the paper is in front of you, scanning is better than taking a photo. Open Notes, create a note, tap the camera icon and choose Scan Documents. The iPhone straightens and crops each page. When you are done, tap Save, then share the note as a PDF.
Method 3: Print to PDF from Photos
Select photos in the Photos app, tap Share → Print, then spread two fingers outward on the preview. That opens a PDF you can share or save to Files. It works, but you can’t control the page size.
Questions
Why are my iPhone photos HEIC instead of JPG?
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default. When you choose them in Safari, iOS usually converts them to JPG automatically, so they work in JPG to PDF.
How do I make the PDF smaller?
After converting, run the file through Compress PDF in Strong mode.
